Moss Vineyards
Sweeping Mountain Vistas
Moss Vineyards owners Barry and Ellen Moss love great wine. They learned the art of winemaking in Europe and celebrated their first vintage in 2010. To them, wine is an art and a passion and they love sharing this inspired energy and their beautiful vineyard with couples on their wedding day.
From its spectacular 1,000-foot perch, Moss Vineyards boasts some of the best Blue Ridge Mountain views in the Monticello wine region. Grand mountaintop vistas are paired with delicious wines and natural vineyard beauty. Design the expansive outdoor space for a breathtaking ceremony that flows right into an elegant indoor reception. New indoor event space houses an elegant reception hall, bridal suite, catering kitchen and restrooms and can be extended into the adjoining room for additional dining seating.
Use the winery tasting room and patio for cocktail hour and the immaculate covered open-air pavilion for evening dancing. Clear tent sides are available for chilly nights. The vineyard welcomes dogs and children and photographers love the dramatic mountain views and brilliant violet hour backdrops.
