Pharsalia was built by Major Thomas Massie for his son William as a wedding present. The 1814 private home and working farm and gardens rest in the bucolic Tye River Valley, welcoming couples to relax and celebrate among its romantic parlors, porches, canopies of shade trees and various outbuildings.
