A Celebration in Bloom at Cornerstone Sonoma

A Sonoma summer provided the perfect backdrop for Lena and Nima Mogharei’s wedding at Cornerstone Sonoma, where vibrant florals, sculptural gardens, and thoughtful personal details came together in a celebration filled with color, romance, and effortless wine country charm.

Cornerstone Sonoma’s expansive lawn became the setting for the ceremony, where twin floral arches were reflected in the venue’s iconic reflection pool, creating one of the day’s most memorable backdrops. A palette of peach, apricot, coral, blush, and ivory carried throughout the celebration, expressed through abundant arrangements of garden roses, dahlias, ranunculus, hydrangeas, anemones, and eucalyptus. The mirrored ceremony design and surrounding gardens set the tone for a celebration that felt both vibrant and effortlessly romantic. Ozan Ulucan Photography beautifully captured both the artistry of the setting and the genuine moments shared throughout the day.

The reception embraced the same warm palette through lush floral runners cascading across rustic farm tables dressed with white linens, slate gray chargers, and gold flatware. Arrangements of seasonal blooms were paired with fresh citrus accents, including blood oranges, lemons, and mandarins, bringing an organic Sonoma touch to the tablescape. A dramatic floral and citrus installation framed the sweetheart table, while an elegantly understated buttercream cake topped with fresh blooms added a romantic finishing touch. Folktable Catering welcomed guests with a thoughtfully curated dining experience, while a lively dragon dance performance filled the evening with color, movement, and joyful energy.
