A Celestial Touch on a Spring Wedding at Dunes West Golf & River Club

Connor and Chloe celebrated their wedding in the picturesque Lowcountry town of Mount Pleasant, choosing the breathtaking Dunes West Golf & River Club for their March celebration. Planned to perfection by Pluff Mud Event Planning, the day unfolded against lush coastal landscapes and the historic charm of the Charleston area.

The ceremony took place beneath a magnificent live oak, its sprawling branches forming a natural cathedral above white chairs lining a brick pathway. Lavonda Downard Photography brought an editorial eye to every moment, capturing the romance in the couple’s pastel and blue floral palette of blue hydrangeas, blush roses, and white chrysanthemums. The bride’s bouquet, lush with greenery, reflected the gentle elegance of spring.

Inside the warmly lit reception, romantic chandeliers and candle centerpieces set the mood while the venue’s culinary team delighted guests with a memorable dining experience. The wedding cake, crafted by RISE Bespoke Bakery Co., featured a timeless white design adorned with golden star and moon details—a whimsical nod to the night sky.
