A Classic Charleston Affair at Middleton Place

Christine and Ryan celebrated their late May wedding at Middleton Place in Charleston, South Carolina, bringing together historic surroundings, family traditions, and military details. Peper Events coordinated the celebration across the property's indoor and outdoor settings.

The couple said "I do" inside an intimate historic chapel, where family and friends applauded their first kiss as newlyweds. A palette of powder blue, warm peach, and creamy ivory carried through the floral design, with garden roses, ranunculus, delphinium, stock, and Queen Anne's lace filling the bouquets and arrangements.

The reception unfolded inside Middleton Place's event pavilion, where marsh and reflecting pond views framed the evening. White draping stretched overhead as Emerald Empire Band brought guests to the dance floor, with tambourines adding a playful touch to the celebration.
