A Love Letter to Charleston at High Cotton

Julia & Zach
Winter in the Holy City provided a beautiful backdrop for Julia and Zach's ceremony, followed by a reception at High Cotton Charleston, where classic Southern elegance and warm hospitality defined every moment of the day.
A vibrant palette of hot pink, coral, peach, soft blue, and fresh green carried throughout the celebration, reflected in abundant arrangements of garden roses, ranunculus, delphinium, lisianthus, wax flower, and trailing greenery. Julia carried a lush, garden-inspired bouquet bursting with color, while her bridesmaids, dressed in a mix of navy, periwinkle, and powder blue gowns, echoed the joyful palette with bouquets of their own.
Following the ceremony, the couple wandered through Charleston's historic streets for portraits among hidden garden paths, ivy-covered walkways, and stately historic facades. Leigh Hayward Photography beautifully wove the timeless character of the Holy City into every chapter of their story, creating imagery that felt both effortlessly romantic and unmistakably Charleston.
Inside High Cotton's private dining room, exposed brick walls, navy leather banquettes, and Lowcountry artwork created a warm, welcoming setting for the evening. Guests enjoyed Southern-inspired hors d'oeuvres before the celebration unfolded over exceptional cuisine, heartfelt toasts, and time spent with those they loved most. Thoughtfully woven into Charleston's historic character, Julia and Zach's wedding celebrated not only their marriage, but also the timeless charm of the Holy City.
