A Rustic September at Oakdale

September brought Hannah and Melanie to Oakdale in Ashland, Virginia, as summer began to give way to early fall. The venue's mix of indoor and outdoor settings provided a relaxed backdrop for a celebration grounded in rustic details.

Ivory, sage green, and deep navy blue set the palette for the day. Beneath the open air pavilion, timber beams and string lights framed views of the surrounding fields and pond. Hannah and Melanie exchanged vows in front of a wooden arbor accented with greenery and blooms by Flowers by Zoie, surrounded by family and friends.

Inside the barn, navy linens brought deeper color to the reception tables, paired with sage green table numbers, vintage inspired lanterns, and cascading arrangements that echoed the ceremony florals. White and green blooms gathered around the sweetheart table and continued along the brick fireplace mantel, while chandeliers and string lights warmed the space overhead. EAT Catering served guests before the evening shifted toward dancing.
