A Timeless September Farm Soiree

Bryn and Noah’s Charlottesville wedding embraced the natural rustic elegance and peaceful ambiance flowing throughout the Barn at Edgewood. Family and friends gathered under a prominent sky-soaring oak tree on a cloudy September day when late summer kissed early fall to celebrate the couple. Charlottesville wedding planners from Heart & Soul Weddings orchestrated a beautiful day around the elegant barn and farm while taking advantage of endless captivating mountain views.

Talented designers with Sparrow's Floral Design curated breathtaking seasonal bouquets and decor gathering fall foliage and building bountiful natural blooms in ivory, ruby, terracotta and soft shades of peach. The rustic autumn orange color palette continued across bridesmaid dresses and groomsmen’s ties.

Photographers with Benjamin McLean Photography captured a sweet first touch couple moment on either side of an oak tree, the bridal party laughing and primping in the barn's second-floor loft suite, a tender moment where the bride’s mother zipped her long-sleeved lace gown and every detail down to the groomsmen’s Ace Ventura socks and custom cufflinks.

A natural wedding party and couple photo shoot took place in front of the farm’s reflective pond backed by acre upon acre of green cattle pastures. The simple, clean country aesthetic was carried throughout the covered veranda cocktail hour, spilling out onto the lawn for yard games and into the 2,400-square-foot event barn reception space. Candles and bistro lighting illuminated the floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace and exposed wood beams while guests toasted, hugged and dined on a country-style dinner before a glow stick dance party ensued.
