Jane & Thomas
Jane and Thomas celebrated their whimsical spring wedding at the Virginia Cliffe Inn in Glen Allen, Virginia. Surrounded by blooming gardens and elegant architecture, their May celebration felt like a storybook come to life.
Jane wore an ivory gown, her auburn hair adorned with tiny wildflowers. She carried a bouquet of blush ranunculus, cornflower blue bachelor buttons, chamomile, and ferns—an organic creation by Patterson's Backyard Farm. Thomas wore a steel blue suit and mint green tie, his boutonniere mirroring the wildflower palette. The two exchanged vows before the venue’s tiered fountain, framed by coral and magenta azaleas beneath a canopy of ancient trees.
Cocktail hour unfolded in a breezy pavilion dressed in white drapery and twinkling bistro lights. Inside the reception space, panoramic windows revealed the surrounding gardens, while rustic wicker baskets overflowed with colorful blooms. Sage green runners, floral napkins, and wooden table numbers completed the whimsical tablescape, complemented by mahogany Chiavari chairs.
EAT Catering served a seasonal menu as guests mingled, sipped, and shared toasts. The evening came alive under the stars with music by Song Saloon Events, as Jane and Thomas shared their first dance.
Throughout the day, Amelia B. Photography, joined by RVA Film Works, brought a refined, artistic lens to every moment. With an eye for quiet beauty and genuine emotion, Amelia’s imagery told the story of Jane and Thomas’s celebration with grace and sensitivity, preserving the atmosphere, intimacy, and effortless charm of their garden wedding in timeless detail.
