An Immaculately Framed Elegant Evening at The Dewberry

Annie & Ryan
Annie and Ryan’s wedding was a study in late-autumn elegance, unfolding across two iconic Charleston settings. Their October celebration blended timeless tradition with modern romance, anchored by a refined palette of soft neutrals, deep burgundy, and blush.
The couple exchanged vows at St. Mary of the Annunciation, where the church’s historic architecture and reverent atmosphere set a deeply meaningful tone for the ceremony. Annie stunned in a lace gown with intricate embroidery and a cathedral-length veil, while Ryan’s classic black tuxedo embodied timeless Charleston sophistication.
The celebration then moved to The Dewberry, where the reception unfolded in true black-tie fashion. Lush arrangements by Flowershop layered the space with sunflowers, ranunculus, and trailing greenery, adding warmth and texture to the hotel’s polished interiors. Guests enjoyed Lowcountry-inspired cuisine curated by The Dewberry’s culinary team, surrounded by elevated tablescapes styled with rentals from Curated Events. As the evening progressed, the space transformed into a joyful celebration filled with dancing, heartfelt toasts, and unfiltered happiness.
Sean Money & Elizabeth Fay portrayed the day with an editorial, emotive eye, capturing both the quiet reverence of the ceremony and the exuberance of the reception with equal artistry. Annie and Ryan’s wedding was timeless, romantic, and unmistakably Charleston, a beautifully balanced celebration of tradition, elegance, and love.
