Steeped in the historic charm of Old Town Alexandria, The Athenaeum provided an intimate setting for Erika and Andrey's summer wedding, where timeless architecture, romantic florals, and heartfelt personal touches came together effortlessly. Seven Rings Events orchestrated a day that flowed seamlessly from the courtyard ceremony to an elegant evening with loved ones.

Inside the Athenaeum's ivy-covered courtyard garden, centuries-old brick walls and a dramatic arched alcove created a timeless backdrop for the couple's vows. A palette of burgundy, blush, ivory, and fresh green carried throughout the day, reflected in abundant floral design by Helen Olivia Flowers. Lush arrangements of peonies, ranunculus, garden roses, phalaenopsis orchids, lisianthus, and seasonal greenery framed the ceremony, while Erika carried a garden-inspired bouquet that beautifully echoed the celebration's romantic aesthetic.

The reception continued inside the Athenaeum's light-filled gallery, where warm hardwood floors, crisp white walls, and rotating contemporary artwork created a refined atmosphere. White linens, blush charger plates, burgundy napkins, candlelight, and lush floral centerpieces reflected the elegant palette, while thoughtful details including table cards inspired by Alexandria landmarks, a shared photo QR code, and playful game cards encouraged guests to relax, connect, and celebrate together.
