Coastal Grace at The Cottages on Charleston Harbor

With Charleston Harbor glistening in the spring sunshine, Kathleen and Griffin celebrated their wedding at The Cottages on Charleston Harbor, where coastal scenery, fresh sea breezes, and timeless Southern hospitality created an unforgettable setting for the day. Thoughtfully planned by Caroline Walter Events & Design, the celebration embraced the effortless elegance of the Lowcountry from beginning to end.

Set against the sparkling waters of Charleston Harbor, the waterfront lawn created a breathtaking setting for the celebration. Rows of wooden chairs beneath swaying palm trees led to abundant floral arrangements of hydrangeas, garden roses, white delphiniums, and fresh greenery in a palette of white, ivory, and soft green by Flora by Hannah. Kathleen and Griffin’s joyful walk back up the aisle reflected the excitement and warmth that carried throughout the day. Katie Bertagnolli Photography beautifully preserved both the coastal scenery and the heartfelt moments that made the celebration so memorable.

The reception embraced the relaxed elegance of the Lowcountry, where candlelit tables, soft coastal details, and sweeping harbor views created an inviting atmosphere beneath the tent. Charleston Entertainment filled the evening with live music before Bunn DJ kept the dance floor full, carrying the celebration late into the night beneath warm pink and golden lighting.

As the evening drew to a close, Charleston Harbor provided a breathtaking backdrop for the final moments of the celebration. Surrounded by the glow of the tent, the sound of the water, and the people they loved most, Kathleen and Griffin ended the day with a celebration that perfectly captured the romance and effortless beauty of the Lowcountry.
