Coastal Romance in Blue and White at The Porter Room

Ashley and Brandon celebrated their wedding day in early spring at The Porter Room in North Charleston, South Carolina, beneath the canopy of Spanish moss–draped oaks where their Southern romance unfolded in perfect harmony.

Ashley’s intricate braided updo shimmered with pearl hairpins, and her lace adorned gown with its sweeping cathedral train embodied timeless elegance. Her bridal look, perfected by Silhouette on Site, reflected the day’s refined yet welcoming spirit. The ceremony, led by officiant Kasey King, bloomed into a garden sanctuary with cascading blue hydrangeas and ivory roses framing the vows as golden hour light streamed through the ancient branches. Bridesmaids in flowing azure gowns carried complementary bouquets designed by Charleston Wedding Studio, whose expert planning and floral artistry shaped the day from start to finish.

As twilight settled over Charleston, the celebration moved into The Porter Room, where rustic charm met understated sophistication. Crisp white linens dressed the tables, each crowned with loose organic arrangements of ivory roses and powder blue hydrangeas. Mercury glass votives flickered softly, while bespoke dusty blue escort cards in gold calligraphy guided guests to their places. A three-tiered confection, adorned with pearl detailing and fresh blooms, stood as a sweet focal point.

Guests filled the space with music and laughter, dancing beneath twinkling lights and surrounded by elegant details from IBA Event Rentals. The evening closed in a flourish with a sparkler tunnel, the newlyweds stepping into the night radiant with joy.
