Crimson Velvet Elegance at Larz Anderson House

Maria & Jose
Maria and Jose celebrated their wedding at Larz Anderson House on a crisp March evening, where historic grandeur and a rich crimson palette set the tone for a celebration that felt both opulent and deeply personal. With Tulle & Tinsel Event Co. guiding the day, the experience unfolded across the mansion’s ornate interiors with a seamless, elevated flow.
The ceremony took place in one of the house’s intricately detailed rooms, where marble floors, carved mantels, and a crystal chandelier created a refined setting. Bold arrangements of red roses, anthurium, tulips, and deep burgundy blooms by Leroy French Flowers framed the fireplace altar, anchoring the palette of crimson, gold, and ivory. Maria carried a bouquet of blush tulips, ranunculus, and calla lilies, offering a soft contrast to the surrounding florals. Isabel Bracho Photography brings a refined, editorial eye, emphasizing the interplay of rich color, light, and architectural detail throughout the day.
The reception continued in the grand ballroom, where double height ceilings, gilded balconies, and cascading chandeliers set a dramatic tone. Long tables dressed in deep crimson velvet were layered with crystal glassware, brass candelabras, and red accented details, creating a setting that felt both luxurious and inviting. Catering by Main Event Caterers carried the evening with a polished dining experience, while rentals from DC Rentals completed the richly styled space.
As the night unfolded, the parquet floor filled with movement beneath the glow of chandeliers, bringing the celebration to life. The result was a wedding that felt dramatic, romantic, and full of energy, a striking reflection of a couple celebrating with intention and joy.
