Michelle and Matt’s October soiree at Mount Ida Farm & Vineyard was set in deep nautical blue and sophisticated merlot hues against a rustic autumn landscape. Charlottesville wedding planner Two Byrds Events designed a fun, naturally flowing day that felt genuine and inspired, playing up the relaxed and refined venue. A breathtaking hillside ceremony showcased the property’s sprawling autumn backdrops with sweeping Blue Ridge Mountain views and a luscious floral archway by Gregory Britt Design in bountiful fall greenery, ivory, dusty rose and red blooms.
 
The professional floral designer crafted a scenic late-October panorama with gorgeous colorful arrangements reaching skyward at the aisle entrance and a bridal bouquet of elegant ivory blooms. Charlottesville wedding photographer Amative Creative captured authentic moments with family and friends, a gushing dress reveal with bridesmaids, first-look father and bride fist bumps and a brilliant glowing sunset newlywed shoot. As the sun dipped behind the rolling hills, the gated country estate’s restored event barn radiated in romantic pine, roses, bronze flatware and bone china. Caterers from the Catering Outfit served a buffet-style feast of farm salads, gourmet mac and cheese, Brussels sprouts, pulled pork, coleslaw and homemade rolls.
