Gilded Elegance at Willard InterContinental Washington

Early autumn welcomed Victoria and Matt to the Willard InterContinental Washington for a September wedding, where the historic hotel provided a timeless backdrop for the celebration. A palette of blush, ivory, champagne, and soft gold carried throughout the day's design.

Guests gathered in the hotel's Grand Ballroom, where marble columns, gilded architectural details, and crystal chandeliers framed the ceremony. A cream aisle runner was lined with gold Chiavari chairs, while Blue Vanda Designs carried the floral design throughout the celebration with blush and white roses, ranunculus, hydrangeas, anemones, and fresh greenery adorning gilded ceremony arrangements, bouquets, and reception florals. Victoria and Matt shared their first kiss surrounded by the applause of family and friends.

Events by PG brought the couple's vision together as the celebration continued into the reception. Guest tables featured a mix of tall gold trumpet vase arrangements and low centerpieces paired with taper candles, while the sweetheart table was framed by a lush floral runner atop a rose gold jacquard linen. A four tier ivory wedding cake finished with ornate gold detailing echoed the ballroom's classic elegance as Willard InterContinental welcomed guests to dinner. NYX Entertainment & Events kept the dance floor lively throughout the evening, while Davina Oh Photography and Bowen Films preserved every chapter of the celebration, from the quiet ceremony moments to the energy of the reception.
