Gilded Winter Elegance at Union Station

Kat and Will celebrated their winter wedding at Events at Union Station in the heart of Washington, D.C., surrounded by the landmark venue's historic architecture and gilded details. Birch Management planned the celebration, bringing the day together across the grand setting.

Kat and Will exchanged vows beneath painted archways and glowing chandeliers, surrounded by the venue's ornate gilded details. House of Jeanne Flowers lined the aisle and framed the grand wooden doors with white garden roses, delphinium, Queen Anne's lace, and trailing greenery, bringing a garden inspired softness to the historic interior.

The reception unfolded in the Main Hall, where golden uplighting highlighted the marble columns and painted ceiling. Long tables featured tall greenery and lower arrangements of blush roses, ivory ranunculus, and garden peonies, while Fabrication Events contributed to the reception setting. Design Cuisine served dinner before Kushner Entertainment brought guests to the dance floor with live music.

Family and friends gathered beneath the historic arches for a sparkler send off before Kat and Will stepped outside for nighttime portraits with the U.S. Capitol in the distance. Anna Schmidt Photography brings a polished, architectural perspective to the gallery, making full use of Union Station and the surrounding landmarks.
