Golden Light & Garden Blooms at Flying Cloud

Alyssa and Josh welcomed spring with an April wedding at Flying Cloud in Petaluma, California, surrounded by the rolling hills of Sonoma wine country. Golden afternoon light and warm, personal details set the tone for a relaxed celebration that carried well into the evening.

Beneath a canopy of trees, Alyssa and Josh exchanged vows in the garden, where chairs lined the green lawn and umbrellas offered shade for guests. A wine barrel topped with florals added a rustic touch to the ceremony setting. Blush, peach, ivory, and sage shaped the day's palette, with garden roses, delphinium, stock, and snapdragons arranged in loose bouquets that complemented the surrounding Sonoma countryside.

After the vows, guests gathered in the courtyard for cocktail hour beside a fountain surrounded by blooming pink geraniums. Lombardi's Catering carried the gathering into dinner outdoors, where tables dressed in white linens paired garden inspired florals with flickering taper candles. Beyond the tables, rolling hills and grazing horses stretched into the distance as Alyssa and Josh stepped away for portraits in the evening light.

Once dinner gave way to dancing, Macki Event Services took over the soundtrack, filling the courtyard beneath the string lights as Alyssa and Josh celebrated into the night.
