Becca and Kevin’s June wedding at The Market at Grelen celebrated true love wrapped in early summer glory. Revered Charlottesville wedding planner Swoon Soirée orchestrated a stunning Berry Field ceremony framed by oak trees and endless pastoral views. A lush lawn aisle was lined with colorful summer florals and tall white candles, with romantic wrought iron seating flowing into the open-air greenhouse reception.
 
A violin and cello brought guests down the aisle and butterflies swooned for the luscious fragrant pink and red flowers. The couple shared vows through tears and laughter and lit a unity candle, incorporating military tradition throughout the ceremony. Guests found their escort cards embedded with wildflower seeds to take home and plant and a Mad River Canoe filled with beer and ice beckoned post-ceremony refreshment.
 
Charlottesville wedding photographer Shannon Moffit called on the venue’s breathtaking countryside backdrops for sunlit family and wedding party shoots, using her unique documentary-meets-fine-art style to stop time for darling black and white slow dance shots in the trees and loving embraces tucked into vibrant fields.
 
Floral designers from The Flower Guy Bron fashioned flowing wild green and white bouquets with organic and bespoke precision, playing up the season’s bountiful growth in sprawling fern, vines and leafing. The talented catering team from Mosaic Catering and Events served course after plated course showcasing the region’s seasonal fare alongside local wine and a pristine three-tier white monogrammed cake accentuated with leafing and pearls. The softly lit clear-top tent welcomed countryside stars and a gentle summertime glow while a high-energy dance party carried guests into the night.
