Late Summer Romance at Eastwood Farm & Winery

Rachel & Lee
Rachel and Lee celebrated their wedding at Eastwood Farm & Winery on a lush September day that captured the warmth and ease of late summer in the Blue Ridge foothills. Set against the venue’s natural landscape, the celebration felt organic, vibrant, and deeply connected to its surroundings, with Little Acorn Events bringing everything together with a natural, effortless flow.
The ceremony unfolded on the garden grounds, where layers of golden hydrangeas, wildflowers, and native grasses created a naturally abundant backdrop, enhanced by florals from Tourterelle Floral Design. Rachel walked down the aisle in a strapless gown adorned with delicate leaf appliqués, paired with a cathedral veil and pearl accents. Her bouquet, filled with peach dahlias, golden blooms, and soft greenery, echoed the surrounding palette, bringing a gathered, garden inspired feel to the moment. Minerva Photography complements the visual narrative alongside lead photographer Sarah Cramer Shields, adding depth through additional perspectives across the day.
Portraits across the property highlighted the beauty of the setting, from open meadows to pond side grasses and distant views of the Blue Ridge ridgeline. Under the sailcloth tent, the reception embraced a relaxed yet refined aesthetic. Tables were styled with ivory linens, dusty blue glassware, and low floral arrangements in soft, layered tones, while catering by L'etoile Catering created a warm and inviting dining experience beneath strings of bistro lights.
As the night unfolded, the celebration built into a lively, high energy atmosphere, with a saxophonist moving through the crowd and guests filling the dance floor. The evening closed with a sparkler send off, Rachel and Lee making their exit surrounded by light, laughter, and the kind of joy that carried through every moment of the day.
