Lowcountry Autumn with a Western Twist at Runnymede

Brianna & Nick Pappas
Brianna and Nick celebrated their November wedding at Runnymede in Charleston, South Carolina, beneath the moss draped oaks of the Lowcountry. Amy Lane Weddings shaped the day across the open grounds, pairing Southern details with richer autumn colors and playful touches.
Beneath the canopy of a sprawling oak, Brianna and Nick exchanged vows on the open lawn, with a wooden cross nestled against the tree's trunk and rows of wooden chairs facing the ceremony. Brianna wore a lace and tulle gown with a cathedral length veil embroidered with floral appliqué, later adding white embroidered cowgirl boots for a touch of country style.
Cocktail hour spread across the lawn before guests gathered beneath the tent, where pieces from BBJ La Tavola and Snyder Events layered the setting with olive velvet linens and flowing white draping. Eden Florals filled the tables with blush, ivory, and burgundy garden roses, ranunculus, dahlias, and stock, while disco balls wrapped in baby's breath hung above the black and white checkered dance floor. A vintage horse trailer turned mobile bar served espresso martinis and virgin Moscow mules as the celebration moved into the evening.
The Lombardoni Edit followed Brianna and Nick through the oak filled grounds and the energy beneath the tent. As night settled over Runnymede, guests gathered with sparklers to send the newlyweds through a glowing tunnel and into the Charleston night.
