Modern Chic Meets Lush Urban Allure at The Wool Factory

Olivia and Colin’s September Charlottesville wedding settled into the Wool Factory’s airy event spaces and lush outdoor gathering grounds on the edge of downtown. The gorgeously restored 19th century textile mill set the warm, inviting Charlottesville wedding reception tone in deep green velvet and tanned natural leather. The bride’s modern intricate silver rose and tulle dress complemented the casual chic aesthetic found in simple wildflower centerpieces and historic brick touches.

The Wool Factory’s peaceful riverside setting flowed around an al fresco courtyard cocktail hour. Charlottesville wedding catering executive chef Tucker Yoder brought local peak-season ingredients together in a three-course seated dinner while executive pastry chef Rachel DeJong crafted a whimsical floral-draped chocolate cake.

Tom Daly captured candid wedding scenes in his special distinct and playful documentary-style Charlottesville wedding photography. Natural, un-posed moments and celebratory toasts unfolded in the surrounding woods, airy main event hall and spacious glowing courtyard.
