Bailey & Drew

Bailey and Drew celebrated their May wedding at The John Marshall Ballrooms in downtown Richmond, Virginia, where the historic setting brought old world character to their spring celebration. Riverwood Designs guided the day, carrying a classic white, green, and gold palette throughout the reception.

The couple said "I do" at St. Patrick Church, where family and friends cheered as Bailey and Drew made their way back down the aisle as newlyweds. The celebration then moved to The John Marshall Ballrooms, where Riverwood Designs filled gold compotes with white hydrangeas and roses, paired with brass candlesticks and votives. Ivory linens and rentals from Sammy's Rental completed the tables beneath gilded chandeliers and string lights.

Cocktail hour welcomed guests with passed hors d'oeuvres from Homemades by Suzanne, including caprese skewers and golden fried bites, before dinner and dancing. A vintage inspired cake topped with a bride and groom figurine and sugared white roses added a nostalgic touch to the dessert table, while Attraction Band via EastCoast Entertainment kept the dance floor full throughout the evening.

Guests gathered outside for a sparkler send off before Bailey and Drew made their departure in a vintage black getaway car. Nicki Metcalf Photography gives the gallery a warm, classic feel, moving between the ballroom's historic interiors and the streets of downtown Richmond. With sparklers overhead and the city around them, Bailey and Drew's getaway brought their spring celebration at The John Marshall Ballrooms to a fitting close.
