Riverside Revelry at The Boathouse

Set along the shimmering waters of the James River, Allie and Brian's September wedding at The Boathouse embraced the warmth and beauty of late summer.

Overlooking the James River, a white pergola framed the ceremony while white folding chairs lined the stone-paved aisle. Officiated by All Things Marriage RVA, the couple sealed their vows with a kiss, earning cheers and applause from their guests. The bride carried a bouquet of hot pink peonies, fuchsia dahlias, yellow ranunculus, white cosmos, lavender delphinium, and vivid orange blooms. Something Borrowed Blooms carried the vibrant wildflower-inspired palette throughout the celebration with coordinating bouquets, colorful reception centerpieces, crisp white linens, mint green accents, and elegant gold table numbers.

As guests gathered for dinner, The Boathouse paired waterfront views with a warm, inviting atmosphere, where glowing bistro lights, candlelight, and seasonal details set the tone for the evening. A dessert display of cupcakes added a sweet finishing touch before Allie and Brian shared their first dance surrounded by family and friends.
