Romance by the River at Dunes West Golf & River Club

Katherine and Marshall’s wedding was the perfect blend of coastal elegance and romantic charm, set beneath Spanish moss-draped oaks and along the serene Lowcountry marshes at the breathtaking Dunes West Golf & River Club.

Their palette of soft blues, lavender, and sage green set a dreamy tone, beautifully reflected in the floral artistry by Country & Lace. Pale blue hydrangeas, lavender roses, and lush greenery created an ethereal garden-like atmosphere, echoed in the slate blue gowns of the wedding party. As afternoon light filtered through the oak branches, it cast a golden glow over their vows, adding a sense of magic to the moment.

The reception unfolded in true Lowcountry style, where natural light streamed through tall windows to illuminate tables draped in white linens and adorned with delicate arrangements of roses, dusty miller, and lavender blooms. Elegant gold Chiavari chairs and timeless details styled by Just as Planned Productions brought a refined touch to the celebration. Guests were treated to a pristine white three-tier cake by The Cake Stand Charleston, accented with delicate Swiss dots and crowned with a custom gold topper.

Throughout the day, Charleston Photo Art preserved the couple’s laughter and tender moments—from their joyful first dance to their playful strolls along the marsh. A whimsical touch came courtesy of The Charleston Shutter Bus, where a vintage Volkswagen transformed into a lively photo booth, delighting guests of all ages.

As the evening came to a close, Katherine and Marshall shared a jubilant send-off beneath a canopy of glowing LED light sticks. The rainbow of color lit the night sky and perfectly mirrored the joy of their spring celebration.
