Rustic Charm and Timeless Elegance at Merchants Hall

Merchants Hall, with its exposed brick walls and glittering chandeliers, set the stage for Steph and JT’s December wedding—a celebration that balanced rustic charm with timeless elegance. Under the thoughtful direction of Peper Events, the day unfolded seamlessly, each detail enhancing the venue’s warm and intimate character. Little Runaway Photography portrayed the celebration with an artistic eye, preserving 

romantic moments alongside the joyful energy of the day.

The ceremony took place beneath a wooden hexagonal arch adorned with white blooms and cascades of eucalyptus, its simple beauty magnified against the weathered brick backdrop. Steph walked the aisle in a breathtaking lace gown with delicate appliqués that trailed into a graceful hem, her soft waves framing the radiant smile she carried into the vows. Her bouquet, a dreamy mix of roses and greenery, echoed the natural textures woven throughout the design, while JT looked dashing in a classic black tuxedo with a crisp white bow tie.

As the celebration moved into the reception, Merchants Hall glowed beneath crystal chandeliers and the flicker of candlelight. Tables were dressed with greenery and modern candle centerpieces, creating a refined, minimalist atmosphere. Guests savored a feast prepared by Duvall Catering & Events, and a naked cake from LB Sweets & Treats, accented with fresh florals, stood as a sweet centerpiece. When DJ Natty Heavy filled the hall with music, the dance floor came alive, carrying the celebration late into the night. It was an evening of joy and elegance, where Charleston’s historic charm intertwined effortlessly with the warmth of love shared among family and friends.
