September Seaside Shades of Blue at Harborside East

Evan and Emily’s September celebration at Harborside East embraced crisp clean white florals and décor enhanced by a romantic palette of brilliant blues. Charleston wedding
planners and floral designers with Everything After the Ring accentuated the waterfront venue’s timeless style with nods to the past. Vintage black and white family wedding portraits beamed from sterling frames while an antique rotary phone collected guestbook messages.

Bridesmaids dazzled in baby blue floor-length gowns next to the stunning bride in a flowing white floral-overlay fairytale gown and traditional long veil. Minimalist design threaded throughout in long-stem white bloom bouquets and aisle installations along with white linens and glowing candles by Snyder Events.

Laura & Rachel Photography captured a superb mix of film and digital imagery that included sweet couple strolls and stolen kisses down romantic pathways, sun-soaked waterfront photography framed by swaying palms, the groom’s tears as his bride radiated down the brick terrace aisle and intimate newlywed moments backed by the iconic arching double diamond Ravenel Bridge.

Guests gathered and shared heartfelt speeches as dinner and dancing rolled into the modern reception hall among marble accents and chic chandelier lighting fixtures. Charleston wedding caterers with Hamby Catering & Events served a meal to remember crowned by gourmet artisan cupcakes and cookies and a rich buttercream wedding cake paired with champagne. The DJ kept the glow-stick-buzzing dance floor going into the night before fireworks exploded over the harbor and the bride and groom drove away in a shining blue convertible, silver streamers blowing in the late-summer’s night breeze.
