Shades of Blue and Autumn Gold at Pharsalia

Rebecca and Taylor’s October wedding at Pharsalia’s working farm and gardens wore a brilliant autumn cloak of greens, golds and blazing reds. The dreamy bucolic landscape provided touching backdrops for the fall nuptials, a tender father-daughter first look and giddy bride and groom moments embraced by towering trees and gorgeous lush grounds.

Charlottesville wedding photographers with Amative Creative stopped time with sweet pre-ceremony vow readings between the bride and groom and a high-energy wedding party shoot set against endless October rolling hillsides. Bridesmaid’s wore a palette of bold indigo to soft blue and groomsmen stunned in striking deep blue suits. The outdoor ceremony took place on the property’s grand lawn overlooking glowing afternoon vineyards and orchards. A fairytale sunset newlywed shoot unfolded among apple trees, violet hour mountain silhouettes and joyous vineyard kisses. Guests lounged and connected on Pharsalia’s romantic parlors and porches, in the garden and under canopies of shade trees.

Planners with Something Blue Weddings and Events orchestrated seamless wedding day flow, from a bridesmaid first look coming down the historic home’s stairs onto the gracious green lawn to unburying the bourbon tradition where the couple snuck in a snack. Mindful vintage blue touches dotted the reception space, vinyl records served as a guest book, antique photos of previous generations added loving nostalgia and a hand-scrawled sign reminded guests to unplug and be in the moment with the couple.

Tabby's Bartending treated guests to refreshing libations as they nibbled on an elaborate cheese and charcuterie cocktail hour offering before settling into the luxurious sailcloth event tent’s pine farm tables for a Southern-inspired dinner. A vintage wagon wheel table presented artisan cupcakes and a blue-swathed gourmet wedding cake.
