Soft Whispers of Romance at the Governor Thomas Bennett House

Reagan & Austin
On a spring day in March, Reagan and Austin chose an intimate elopement at the historic Governor Thomas Bennett House in Charleston, South Carolina. Framed by centuries-old architecture and manicured gardens, the setting offered a sense of quiet elegance that felt deeply personal.
The palette unfolded in soft whites and elegant neutrals, echoing the home’s timeless façade. White peonies and delicate florals adorned the garden, while hanging flower baskets along the balconies added romantic softness. Reagan’s bouquet of pure white peonies, tied with a sentimental photo charm, introduced a meaningful personal detail, thoughtfully designed by 3 Peonies Weddings & Events.
The ceremony took place beneath a white floral arch, framed by vintage wooden chairs and the gentle sound of the nearby fountain. Planned with care by A Knotch Above Events, the day unfolded with ease, allowing the couple’s connection to remain at the center. Reagan Aleea Photography preserved the celebration through luminous color and classic black and white imagery, capturing both emotion and intimacy.
As daylight softened into evening, Reagan and Austin’s elopement became a reflection of Charleston itself, graceful, enduring, and quietly romantic.
