Something Blue Spring Romance at The Virginia Cliffe Inn

Marie & Mike
Marie and Michael said “I do” on a sunny April afternoon at Virginia Cliffe Inn, where a soft blue palette and fresh spring setting created a celebration filled with romance and joy. Framed by the inn’s white colonial facade and manicured grounds, the day unfolded with an easy, elegant rhythm.
The ceremony took place on the front lawn, where rows of white chairs lined the grass beneath budding trees. Marie walked down the aisle in a lace A-line gown with a sweeping train, carrying a bouquet of dusty blue and periwinkle roses with pale aqua calla lilies, setting the tone for the day’s color story. The moment felt especially tender as Michael waited with visible emotion, the scene grounded in a palette of soft blue, white, and fresh greenery. Amelia B. Photography brings a light, romantic approach, highlighting both the setting and the emotion woven throughout.
The reception continued under a tented pavilion by the pond, where blue and silver sequined linens, gauze runners, and simple white florals created a light, refined setting. A two-tier ombré cake in shades of blue and white added a striking focal point, while catering by Butler's Unique Catering carried the evening into a warm and inviting dining experience.
As the night unfolded, music by Black Tie Entertainment kept the dance floor lively, leading into a joyful celebration that carried well into the evening. As golden hour settled in, Marie and Michael wandered the garden paths hand in hand, the warm light catching the manor’s facade behind them, a soft, luminous close to a day that felt joyful, polished, and deeply personal.
