Spring Meadow Elegance at The Market at Grelen

Ashley & Ted
Ashley and Ted celebrated their spring wedding at The Market at Grelen, where rolling hills and early season blooms created a setting that felt vibrant, joyful, and effortlessly romantic. With Event Lane and The Evergreen Collective guiding the celebration, the day unfolded across the property’s sweeping landscape with a natural, relaxed elegance.
The ceremony took place on the venue’s sloping lawn beneath an open sky, framed by mountain views and towering trees just beginning to wake for spring. In place of traditional aisle florals, potted flowering shrubs, topiaries, and bright forsythia lined the aisle, adding a thoughtful, garden inspired touch. A palette of white, blush, butter yellow, and fresh green carried throughout the day, echoed in the bridesmaids’ mismatched gowns and the floral design by Colonial Florist & Antiques. Amanda Owen Photography captures the celebration with a bright, romantic perspective, leaning into the natural scenery and joyful energy woven throughout.
The reception moved beneath the tent and onto the stone terrace, where tables dressed in white linens were layered with blush florals, pink taper candles, and crystal glassware glowing beneath string lights. The sweetheart table, framed by lush arrangements of hydrangea, calla lilies, and trailing greenery, overlooked the Blue Ridge hillside as the afternoon light turned golden. Catering by Groovin' Gourmets carried the evening seamlessly, while a Radio City transformed the pavilion into a lively, packed dance floor.
Throughout the day, the couple embraced the property’s scenic landscape, from cherry blossom portraits in the orchard to carefree moments riding through the grounds together. The result was a wedding that felt warm, spirited, and deeply connected to the beauty of a Virginia spring.
