Steeped in Love at Charleston Tea Garden

Kayla & Tony
Rows of vibrant tea plants and towering live oaks set the scene for Kayla and Tony's summer wedding at the Charleston Tea Garden, where one of the Lowcountry's most distinctive landscapes became part of the celebration itself. Sweet Peach Planning brought every detail together with effortless Southern charm, creating a day that celebrated the beauty of the property from beginning to end.
A palette of navy, dusty blue, sage green, and crisp white carried throughout the day, reflected in elegant floral arrangements and thoughtful details. Beneath the venue's open-air pavilion, white chairs dressed with flowing sage gauze and delicate blooms welcomed guests as Kayla made her way down the aisle in a lace-bodiced ball gown, carrying a bouquet of navy roses, white hydrangeas, soft blue florals, and eucalyptus. Tony completed the timeless look in a charcoal suit accented with a cobalt blue rose boutonniere.
As guests explored the property, signature cocktails from Lowcountry Taps and narrated rides aboard the Charleston Tea Garden's iconic red trolley offered a uniquely Lowcountry experience through the scenic tea fields. The celebration continued beneath the covered pavilion, where dusty blue runners, sage napkins, glowing lanterns, fairy lit mason jars, and blue and white florals created a warm, inviting atmosphere for dinner and dancing.
A summer rain shower added one of the day's most unforgettable moments as Kayla and Tony stepped beneath an umbrella for portraits beneath the moss-draped oaks. Rather than interrupting the celebration, the rain became part of its story, adding another unforgettable chapter to an already remarkable day. Marley Photography transformed those fleeting moments from rain-soaked kisses beneath the oaks to golden-hour celebrations across the tea fields into a gallery that beautifully reflected the spirit of the Lowcountry.
