A Celebration in Full Color at Lowndes Grove

Hannah and Alex celebrated their spring wedding at Lowndes Grove in Charleston, South Carolina with a celebration filled with color, personality, and joyful energy. Set along the waterfront, the historic estate offered sweeping lawn views and a signature Lowcountry backdrop that framed the day beautifully. Mac & B Events guided the celebration with thoughtful planning, shaping a day that flowed seamlessly from ceremony to reception.

The ceremony took place on the lawn overlooking the water, where lush aisle arrangements in coral, peach, blush, and cream blooms by The Bearded Florist created a vibrant garden atmosphere. Beneath the open sky, the couple exchanged vows surrounded by layered florals and the soft movement of the marsh beyond.

The reception carried that same lively spirit indoors, where live oaks stretched through the space and rattan pendant lights glowed alongside ivory draping and strands of café lights enhanced by lighting from LIT Charleston. Rustic farm tables and blush linen rounds from Snyder Events and Curated Events Charleston were styled with lavender napkins, jewel-toned glassware in sage, amber, and amethyst, and playful disco ball accents nestled among the florals. Towering centerpieces of orchids, garden roses, dahlias, delphinium, and ranunculus added vibrant texture throughout the space. Guests cheered as Hannah and Alex made their reception entrance through a swirl of bubbles, setting the tone for a night filled with laughter and celebration. Sean Money & Elizabeth Fay photographed the day with a refined editorial eye, while Elephant Memories preserved the celebration on film.
