A Joyful Summer Garden Party Wedding at Historic Whitewood

Madison and Blake celebrated their May wedding at Historic Whitewood, where a soft spring palette and lively atmosphere set the tone for a day filled with warmth and celebration. The festivities unfolded across the property with an easy, joyful rhythm, seamlessly brought together by JLM Design & Events.

The ceremony took place on the stone paved lawn beneath towering trees, where white chairs lined an aisle accented with hydrangeas in soft blue and white. Madison walked down the aisle in a gown with a sweeping train, her veil embroidered with “Forever & A Day,” carrying a bouquet of white roses and hydrangeas, with beauty by Hayley Joan and Amanda Perry completing her radiant look. The palette of ivory, sky blue, and warm neutrals carried throughout, echoed in the wedding party’s powder blue attire and Blake’s tailored look. Tylar Brooke Photography brings a bright, natural clarity to the day, highlighting both the setting and the energy shared throughout.

The reception unfolded beneath café lights and disco balls, with eucalyptus garlands draped across the tent and olive trees adding a romantic, layered feel. Tables were styled with white linens, wicker chargers, gold flatware, and soft sage napkins, finished with oyster shell place cards and floral arrangements of roses and hydrangeas. Catering by 1933 Catering carried the evening into a warm and inviting dining experience, while Level Up Entertainment kept the dance floor full.

The evening closed with a joyful bubble send off into the warm Virginia night, a vibrant and fitting finale to a day filled with energy, laughter, and love.
