Autumn Garden Enchantment at the Clifton Inn

Marissa and Rafael’s late September wedding was cloaked in earthy elements, lush secret garden settings and genuine family and religious traditions. Coveted Charlottesville wedding planner Just a Little Ditty styled the Clifton Inn wedding, complementing the verdant historic estate in white blooms and emerald foliage. The bride’s fairytale ivory dress detailed with butterfly inlays and bridesmaids’ deep fall hues in dark scarlet and rust added to the contemporary enchantment.

A sunny garden ceremony flowed to string quartet Perfect Harmony, segueing into cocktail hour of butlered wine and hors d'oeuvres. The grand court tent welcomed guests to dine among woodland tablescapes built around moss draping, succulents in brass lanterns and goblets of fresh berries. Clifton Inn chefs flexed their Charlottesville wedding catering prowess with special loaves of Challah bread and a plated three-course meal.

Charlottesville wedding photographer Benjamin McLean Photography captured authentic portraits and candids, highlighting golden hour kisses, a forested first look and dance floor joy. Musical entertainment by DJ Derek Tobler and a portable dance floor made for brilliant first dances under the stars while a Silly Shotz Photo Booth brought the laughs.
