Black Tie Meets Pretty in Pinks at William Aiken House

Catherine and Alex’s Charleston wedding at the William Aiken House dabbled in sweet Southern style, wearing an expansive palette of pink, violet, white and delicate native floral watercolor whispers. The bride’s full modern strapless gown, sheer elbow-length gloves and swooning bridesmaids’ party in a jubilant spectrum of blush to hot pink and floral prints set a chic radiating contrast against sleek black suits with crisp white collars.

Charleston wedding planners with Grove Designs carefully crafted every detail and guest experience, lining the sunlit courtyard with classic pews and saving a framed photo and floral bouquet space for loved ones passed. The couple shared their I-do’s under rich garden greenery and a white pergola wrapped in wild vines and flowers.

Husband-wife wedding photographer team with Kailee Dimeglio captured intimate moments in bridal party preparation wrapped in white fluffy slippers and babydoll pajamas, the groom’s first look tears framed by the iconic Upper King Street mansion’s pastel yellow charisma and private vows embraced on the property’s striking terrace. Charleston floral designers with The Bearded Florist knocked it out of the park with petite wild jasmine and calla lily bouquets, naturally flowing spring bloom and sky-reaching calla lily centerpieces along with a floral monogram cocktail hour installation. Vibrant florals graced flutes of champagne and guests tossed loose petals in ceremony celebration.

Stradley Davidson and Snyder Events provided charmed lounge and reception spaces indoors and out, threading the soft yet wild vintage flora theme throughout. Guests savored artful passed hors d’oeuvres in petite chicken and waffle bites and lobster rolls before settling in for a stylish courtyard garden feast courtesy of the revered Patrick Properties culinary team. Six gourmet classic cakes by Sugar Bakeshop crowned the joyous occasion.
