Classic Lowcountry Romance at The Gadsden House

Jordan & Eli

September brought Jordan and Eli to The Gadsden House in historic downtown Charleston, South Carolina, for a celebration rooted in classic Lowcountry style. Boutique Planning guided the day across the restored Federal-style manor, private courtyards, and garden setting.

The ceremony took place in the courtyard, where historic brick walls, climbing greenery, palms, and mature trees surrounded the garden setting. Wooden chairs lined the brick pathway as Jordan and Eli exchanged vows beneath the shaded canopy. Artisan Blooms complemented the setting with ivory garden roses, ranunculus, orchids, and trailing greenery, carrying a soft palette of white, cream, and green throughout the florals.

As evening settled in, the courtyard shifted into the reception setting, with string lights overhead and a greenery wall framing the dance floor. Bud vases filled with white blooms, ranunculus, and greenery dressed the tables, while a coffee cart offered guests a late night treat. Jordan and Eli opened the dance floor with their dance before family and friends joined them for the evening.

Lana Marie Photography draws on the courtyard light and historic surroundings throughout the gallery, while Reflections Media Carolinas follows the celebration through film. The night ended beneath the open sky, where guests raised sparklers as Jordan and Eli made their way hand in hand, closing out their September wedding in the heart of Charleston.
