Classic Southern Charm at The Parsonage at St. Johannes

Peyton & Carl
Peyton and Carl celebrated their November wedding in Charleston, beginning with a ceremony at the historic St. Johannes Lutheran Church and continuing at The Parsonage at St. Johannes. Tucked into downtown Charleston, the restored 19th-century property offered a setting that reflected the charm and timeless beauty of a Lowcountry celebration.
The design embraced a refined palette of crisp white, dusty blue, and deep navy. Peyton carried a bouquet of white peonies, garden roses, and anemones accented with magnolia leaves, while reception florals by CHS Flowers echoed the look with delicate clusters of ranunculus, roses, and snowberries.
The Parsonage’s walled garden became the heart of the reception, where palms, ivy-covered brick, and glowing strands of lights created a classic Charleston atmosphere. Dinner by Brick Lane Catering was served while Charleston Caviar offered a memorable touch with mobile caviar service. Charlotte Grace Wedding Design guided the day with thoughtful planning, Love & Bunches kept the celebration flowing at the bar, and Leigh Hayward brought a polished, timeless perspective to the evening as guests gathered beneath the Charleston sky to toast the newlyweds.
