June Style and Pure Joy at The Clifton

Kenzie and Evan’s June wedding beamed in pristine white with gold touches and endless summer garden greenery. Esteemed Charlottesville wedding planner Mia Crump of Little Acorn Events built in thoughtful and intentional details, sharing the couple’s love story and ensuring the day flowed beautifully.

An exclusive and prestigious Charlottesville wedding venue, The Clifton’s landscape was in full flourishing June glory, shining with sophisticated elegance and providing a stunning lawn ceremony set against forested Blue Ridge Mountain hills. Brilliant white wedding floral artistry by Gregory Britt Design complemented the bridesmaids’ soft sea foam gowns and groomsmens’ mod black suits, thin suspenders and classic bow ties.

Charlottesville wedding photographer Hannah Malloy captured guests strolling around the Clifton Colonial Revival Manor House, an intimate secret garden first look and behind-the-scenes sweetness in the bride’s mother straightening her husband’s tie, a tearful father of the bride and creative candid couple shots in black and white and color.

The talented Clifton Catering team greeted ceremony guests with flutes of champagne while thoughtful hand fans kept everyone comfortable. A butlered cocktail and hors d'oeuvres hour unfolded on the veranda and the Clifton Inn's picturesque croquet lawn before guests were ushered into the grand reception tent for an impressive three-course plated dinner built around The Clifton’s onsite organic vegetable and herb garden.

Alpha Lit Letters brought the newlywed’s last name to life, welcoming guests to the poolside reception space. Blue Ridge Event Production and MS Events set the dreamy midsummer reception tone with white candles, classic white tableware and soft blue and white linens. Stately barrel stave chandeliers hung in the grand gala tent and flip-flops in every size urged dance floor fun.
