Refined Black Tie Tradition at Clifton Inn

Kelsey and Jake’s Clifton Inn Charlottesville wedding delivered black tie elegance in a Colonial Revival estate setting. Floral Images Design Studio shaped the luxurious October celebration with bountiful wedding florals in blush and ivory complementing soft grey bridesmaids dresses and the bride’s regal long-sleeved gown.

Betty Ashton Mayo’s harp set the timeless tone for the traditional church ceremony and pro Charlottesville wedding planners from Just a Little Ditty maintained the perfectly polished day with thoughtful contemporary touches. Cream flower petals mixed with fallen leaves celebrated the couple’s chapel exit and equestrian notes arrived in horseshoe table numbers.

Charlottesville wedding photographer Shannon Moffit brought a special blend of documentary meets fine art in intentional candid photos, telling visual stories through intimate secret garden embraces. Crystal glassware and copper wash lighting accentuated the grand court tent where long MS Events farm tables set in candlelight, ivory and steel grey welcomed reception guests to an elegant countryside dinner by the Clifton Inn catering team. Hand-etched leafing turned heads on Maliha Creations’ three-tiered carrot cake and musical entertainment by Broadsound brought high energy to the tent’s dance floor with lots of toasts, sing-alongs, dips and twirls.
