Snowfall & Candlelight at The Inn at Little Washington

There's something special about marrying in the middle of winter, and for Afsaneh and Erich, a fresh blanket of snow covered the grounds of The Inn at Little Washington in Washington, Virginia. The wintry landscape complemented their intimate indoor celebration.

The celebration unfolded in one of the Inn's private dining rooms, where a long table dressed in deep emerald green linen was layered with a floral runner of crimson, burgundy, deep orange, and ivory. Garden roses, ranunculus, hellebores, snowberries, trailing greenery, and pheasant feathers were paired with antique brass candlesticks and taper candles. Ornate ceiling details, chinoiserie wallpaper, and a glowing fireplace added warmth to the setting.

Guests were treated to passed hors d'oeuvres followed by elegant plated courses from The Inn at Little Washington. Champagne flowed throughout dinner as family and friends gathered around the candlelit table for heartfelt toasts and conversation.
