Karen & Chad

Karen and Chad’s early March wedding in North Charleston unfolded in radiant spring light, where the Porter Room became a canvas for both romance and connection. Tara Guérard Soirée guided the celebration with graceful detail, embracing a palette of lush greenery, white blooms, and touches of sunny yellow that mirrored the freshness of the Lowcountry season. On A Limb brought the vision to life with daisies, Queen Anne’s lace, and billy balls in lively, garden-inspired arrangements, creating an atmosphere that felt both organic and refined.

The Porter Room filled with natural light, where  rattan pendants cast a soft, golden glow over the reception. Soft green linens, floral-patterned overlays, and whimsical centerpieces offered a layered elegance, while every setting felt thoughtfully composed. Guests were treated to Harvest Catering’s menu of artful dishes rooted in local flavor, followed by a white tiered cake adorned with piped detail and paired with a display of ripe strawberries, a nod to the season’s abundance.

As dusk settled, the celebration shifted from serene to spirited. The Midnight City filled the evening with irresistible energy, drawing guests to the dance floor where laughter and movement carried late into the night. Evan Taylor Studio preserved each chapter of the day with a discerning eye—sunlit details, tender glances, and the joyous blur of celebration woven into imagery that reflects the heart of the couple’s story.

Karen and Chad’s Charleston wedding was more than a gathering; it was a portrait of love grounded in elegance, joy, and the vibrant charm of the Lowcountry.
