The Promise of Spring at The Gatekeepers Inn

Emily & John

As winter gave way to the first signs of spring, The Gatekeepers Inn welcomed Emily and John for a February wedding filled with blooming florals, Lowcountry charm, and timeless romance.

The ceremony took place at Eternal Father of the Sea Chapel, where a vibrant palette of peach, coral, blush, soft blue, lilac, and fresh green complemented the chapel's timeless architecture. Abundant arrangements of garden roses, peonies, Icelandic poppies, ranunculus, delphinium, and seasonal blooms by Roadside Blooms brought the season to life, while Emily carried a lush bouquet finished with a flowing blush silk ribbon. Her floral-embroidered veil and matching embroidered shoes added a beautifully personal touch to her bridal look, and a shower of rose petals in shades of orange, yellow, and pink brought the ceremony to a joyful close.

The reception unfolded beneath a beautifully appointed tent, where cascading greenery, café lights, and lantern chandeliers created a romantic garden-party atmosphere. Floral and botanical linens, colorful taper candles, and abundant seasonal blooms reflected the celebration's vibrant palette, while Cru Catering and High Tide Spirits treated guests to an exceptional evening of dining and handcrafted cocktails.

As the celebration continued, family and friends gathered for an evening filled with laughter before a playful send-off brought the festivities to a joyful close. With a refined eye for both meaningful moments and thoughtful design, Ren Photography showcased the celebration through imagery rich in emotion and thoughtful composition. Framed by the historic charm of The Gatekeepers Inn and the first signs of spring, Emily and John's wedding ended with warmth, romance, and the promise of a beautiful new chapter.
