Garden Party Elegance at Lowndes Grove

Few places capture the romance of the Charleston Lowcountry quite like Lowndes Grove, where Sienna and Jake celebrated a spring wedding surrounded by centuries-old live oaks, sweeping waterfront views, and timeless Southern elegance. Thoughtfully planned by PPHG, the celebration embraced the relaxed sophistication of one of Charleston’s most iconic waterfront venues.

Set against the sparkling waters of Charleston Harbor, the waterfront lawn created a breathtaking setting for the celebration. Rows of wooden chairs beneath swaying palm trees led to abundant floral arrangements by Violet Plain featuring hydrangeas, garden roses, white delphiniums, and fresh greenery in a palette of white, ivory, soft blush, and green. A palette of blush, ivory, sage, and soft yellow carried throughout the celebration, seamlessly connecting the ceremony and reception through abundant floral design. Sienna complemented the romantic aesthetic in a sleek backless gown, carrying a cascading bouquet of calla lilies, orchids, ranunculus, and sweet peas, while her bridesmaids introduced soft color and texture in an eclectic mix of sage green, seafoam, and floral print dresses. Dewitco. The waterfront lawn became the setting for the reception, where a sailcloth tent overlooked the Ashley River and long farm tables reflected the celebration’s refined garden aesthetic. Woven rattan chargers, sage green patterned napkins, crystal glassware, and abundant arrangements of green hydrangeas, blush peonies, and ivory roses created an inviting tablescape beneath warm woven pendant chandeliers.
